Glamour and movie star look-alikes prevailed when the Lighthouse Center for the Arts presented its "44th Annual Beaux Art Ball," themed Vintage Hollywood," one of the most welcoming, fun-filled and festive events of the season so far. The black-tie evening took place Feb. 7 at Turtle Creek Country Club in Tequesta and began with a cocktail reception and Raffle Chance Auction for 35 baskets.
Inspector Clouseau (from "The Pink Panther") (actor Patrick Wilkinson from Atlantic Arts Theater) greeted the 225 guests at the red carpet. Once inside, they were ushered by Charlie Chaplin (aka John van Dalen), to be sent on their way by long-time LCA Historian and Registration Chairman Evelyne and Wally Bates.
